Do I Need an Accessibility Driven Website?
Well... We would like to think everyone does.
We work with a variety of clients that use various CMS platforms. We are not going to convince you to change your ways unless you want us, our team will work on your current platform to make it as accessible as possible by leveraging POUR Principles to our best ability and making sure your site meets WCAG requirements.
Because CMS came out long before Web Accessibility was a thing, getting them to make the platforms accessible is asking a lot. These platforms have time under their belt and that means lots and lots of code to rewrite and or review if they were to have accessibility baked in. Therefore we will review your site and let you know if we can work with the platform or if we think you will benefit better from a full redesign with an accessibility-driven platform.
To bring a CMS drive website up to WCAG compliance depends on a few things:
- What is the platform - WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, or a DYI site like square or Wix
- How in-depth is the site and what are the current plugins and or widgets being used
- What is the theme being used and can we leverage it to make accessibility modifications
These are just a few of the items we look at to determine if a CMS or DIY site can be made accessible.

- Accessibility Compliant Report
- Monthly Maintenance - Built using a SSG to meet WA requirements

This type of site is Recommended for businesses that are on a low budget, just starting, or do not need a large site at this time.

Government

We have been designing government websites on the SIPA platform for over five (5) years. We understand the ins-and-outs of the SIPA platform and can work around any seemingly impossible issues. We work with government entities that are migrating from another platform or upgrading to a current SIPA version.
SIPA developers do a great job making the platform meet WCAG requirments however it is up to you to make sure your content meets WCAG and Section 508. This is where Kaffeinated Kodemonkey comes in. We are experts in Web Accessibility standards and follow POUR principles, let us help you make your site compliant.
What's included:
- Domain & Hosting (on SIPA servers) - if you do not have a domain we will help you set one up
- Migration of content from your current site to SIPA platform if need be
- POC Certification - We will generate documents for your site showing it meets the WCAG requirements
